Here we go... yesterday's post dealt with the subject of friendship. I have been extremely blessed to have such a large group of friends. All of my friends are very special and dearly loved by me. Some of my friendships are 30 or more years old. My girlfriend, Kim is my oldest friend. We have been friends for 42 years. Give me your take on friendship and at the end of the week, I will pick a winner. I promise the English teacher in me will not grade you! The book I will be giving away next Saturday is "The Art of Fabric Books".

Hi, Roseann. I found your link on ArtGangLA.

I just wanted to say that friends are part of who we are. They change us, we change them. They push us forward, and sometimes we pull them along with us. Often, we join hands and jump off cliffs together into the unknown.

Without friends, I think we'd be standing still, waiting for something to happen.

Oh wow, don't get me started on friendship. I could not survive without my many friends. Some of my friends go back to the third grade (hi Nancy!) and some are as new as the last person that I met. I am the person at church who will go up to new single people and ask them to join our Sunday lunch bunch (some work out and some do ntot. On Friendship I need to mention my friend L who is in the process of trying to get a new liver! (We have only been friends for 25 years!) and of course my many women's circles!

We can sit in silence or we can giggle like teens - (at the age of 55...) We understand eachother without words or we talk for hours and hours. Harmony, love, trust and of course lots of FUN!
