I LOVE this illustration! It is perfect with just black and white. Look at the folds of the girl's gown. Such detail!
This is from the Prada Spring 2008 campaign. James Jean collaborated with Prada and did a line of clothing and handbags for that campaign. After jumping through a couple of hoops, I purchased 1 of these bags back in May. It is such a beautiful bag, but I have yet to use it. I feel like I should be framing it because it such a wonderful piece of art. Almost my entire life, I have had a thing for French and Italian designers, especially when it comes to shoes and purses. Luckily, I am very, very picky as to what I buy. I own about a dozen pair of shoes and a couple of dozen purses. The last thing I ever want to be is another Imelda Marcos! I expect to put this bag to a lot of use very soon. For more of James Jean's work, go to http://www.processrecess.com/.

Sarah,
I am a BIG fan of yours too! I have you linked on my website as one of my favorite artists. I have especially loved the work you have done with our other fellow "Sound Off Through Art" artists through our swaps that Kelly has put together.
