Good afternoon, 2014! There are
SO many things to be grateful for as I look forward to the new year, as well as I look back at 2013. Today has been another incredible day of what S. California is known for: its beautiful and warm weather. With today being in the low 80's again, it is no surprise why
SO many flock to our state each year. I took this photo a couple of days ago - something about how all of the flowers, berries, and leaves against the kitchen window and the way the light came through got my attention. With the exception of the pink peonies, all of the rest came from my garden. Please excuse the water spots on the window, but if you get caught up on what's not perfect, you'll miss out on the simple pleasures and beauties that are all around us. Happy 2014 and may it be a glorious year for you.
