I LOVE the saying, "When the caterpillar thought its life was over, the butterfly was born." Throughout our lives, we will be constantly metamorphosing into someone else. These pages are the beginning of the next chapter in my life.
Although the week was crazy and ridiculously fast-paced, it is important for me to slow down and make the time to work on my art. I am looking forward to having the long, holiday weekend next week, which will include, for me, an extra day, Wednesday (which is a day that has been owed to me for the last 2 months). I will get an extra helping of my family next weekend, along with pumpkin and cranberry pies, and I will squeeze in putting up our Christmas tree and attending the annual dinner that is part of our family's fund-raiser for my late niece, Katie's foundation: the Kathryn Elizabeth Millan Memorial Foundation, http://www.kemmf.org/.
Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to share my art and adventures as an administrator with others. Thank you for making the time to view my blog and giving me your input.

Roseann, your pages are absolutely breathtaking, as always.
I hope that you get some much deserved rest and some wonderful family time.
xo
Just gorgeous- together with your thoughts. Enjoy the holiday to art- but you know, you can add some "art" thought in everything you do, every moment in everyday! Art can be a way of life- not just in your beautiful artworks!! Just learned this recently and it has added a whole new dimension to my life!!
Thank you, Kelly for that wonderful comment. I have been trying to steal time for resting and making art since the new school year started. I just know I feel better when I am creative.
Thank you, Jill. I agree with your comment. I try to incorporate art into my every day life. It could be as simple as having fresh flowers in my office at work or having fresh flowers throughout my home or even working in my garden. Life is too short to allow the negative to consume our time. For me, art is a way of releasing that negativity and stress. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog.
Oh Such beautiful pages. I hope you have a great thanksgiving with your family.....By the way those pages are great....I so like your hand writing.
Thank you, Lee for your kind remarks. Did you get the box I sent you?
I just received my parcel today, and was shocked. You are to generous. I loved it, everything in it, I showed it to all my family, told all my friends and posted on my blog. Thank you so much I love everything. I have been relooking at everything and planning on what to use on what. Will show you some pages when completed. How did you know I was a paper junkie, I love that paper, many ideas floating thru this head of mine. Thanks you again......
